Emily Ryan is a consultant for Customer Success teams at growth startups in the technology sector.  With nearly 15 years’ experience coordinating teams and ensuring successful customer interactions, Emily views the startup experience through a unique and collaborative lens.  She is focused on scaling great customer-centric teams, creating the processes required for excellent communication and growth while promoting healthy, proactive and positive working environments.  Prior to her work in the tech industry, Emily was an independent film and media producer in New York City.  She considers herself a New Yorker (a title she earned after living in Manhattan for eleven years) even though she grew up in the wilds of northern Idaho near the Canadian border and now lives in the Bay Area of California.  Emily is a classically trained vocalist and attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.  She has a degree in Musical Theater from The New School University.  When she has some time available, Emily trains for triathlon, enjoys indoor rock climbing, traveling, backpacking and keeping her voice well-tuned singing in San Francisco choirs. Emily has worked with several non-profits including JCCA and Resound Ensemble and has served on the board as treasurer for Canticorum Virtuosi, Inc. and Pen Parentis, Ltd.
