Join us at our monthly gathering where we present topics of interest to Rubyists and aspiring programmers. We have a special Boulder Startup Week edition! Jeff Casimir from Turio.io and Marty Haught of Haught Codeworks will be presenting on how to improve your career arc from interviewing to approaches and improvements once you've got a software job!

Schedules:
Doors open at 6:00pm, where you can hangout and socialize with other Boulder Ruby members. We have food and beverages available to add to the enjoyment.

At 7:00, we do announcements before getting to our presentations.

At 7:15 our first presentation starts:

============================
'Interviewing Developers' - by Marty Haught

We're going to go through both sides of the interviewing process starting from with how to conduct an interview as an employer and the flip side on how to interview well as a potential employee. Jeff Casimir from Turing.io will be joining to provide insight from running a successful coding bootcamp.
============================

At roughly 8pm the 2nd presentation starts:

============================
'Deciding to Succeed: Steering Your Development Career' - by Jeff Casimir

There's a lot of energy and time put into resumes, interview prep, and contract negotiation. Once you start the job, though, you can't just put your head down, write code, and hope the organization appreciates you. In this session we'll talk about concrete strategies that can help ensure you have an amazing career.
