Accessibility refers to the concept of building a product in such a way that it is usable by people with the widest possible range of abilities, including those who are living with disabilities. With one billion people, or 15% of the world’s population, experiencing some form of disability, designing with accessibility in mind is the right thing to do on many levels. In fact, it helps to create a better user experience for everyone.

In this session, we will talk about accessibility from the perspective of mobile app developers. We’ll cover the types of impairments that designers need to consciously consider and review how such considerations impact UX and UI. We’ll use a lot of real world examples to bring these concepts to life, as well as share resources and tools that you can leverage in your own projects.
