Translating UX Research to Design
Limited Capacity filling up

How can we best use research to inform design, and how does design inform research? Creativity & Entrepreneurship (with SheSays)
Limited Capacity filling up

Creativity is many things: It’s turning big, new, crazy ideas into a reality. It’s thinking flexibly to find opportunity, and experimenting to leverage what you have to overcome obstacles. It’s countless adventures in learning & re-imagining so you can: craft meaningful company culture, built-it-better, and harness the power of “original” to establish a brand that connects. It’s hard work…it’s also what keeps most entrepreneurs (and businesses) going.

That’s why we’re bringing together a powerhouse of 6 leaders from across the spectrum of startups & creative hubs to share their truth as they know it about entrepreneurship and creativity. They’ll each have 7 minutes share a their juicy insights and story on what they have learned in the trenches and how they keep imagining, inventing, growing & thriving.

Accessibility Matters. Design for It.
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Accessibility refers to the concept of building a product in such a way that it is usable by people with the widest possible range of abilities, including those who are living with disabilities. With one billion people, or 15% of the world’s population, experiencing some form of disability, designing with accessibility in mind is the right thing to do on many levels. In fact, it helps to create a better user experience for everyone.

In this session, we will talk about accessibility from the perspective of mobile app developers. We’ll cover the types of impairments that designers need to consciously consider and review how such considerations impact UX and UI. We’ll use a lot of real world examples to bring these concepts to life, as well as share resources and tools that you can leverage in your own projects.
