Priya Shah
ShahSquared Consulting Founder + Principal
Denver, CO
Priya sought a career that blended her love of the written word with her adventurous culinary palate and entrepreneurial spirit. Intrigued by the burgeoning food scene, she uprooted from the Midwest after working in public relations after receiving her degree in journalism & mass communication to pursue a master’s in gastronomy at Boston University, a program co-founded by Julia Child and Jacques Pépin. Combining her passions, she spent the next five years as a publicist for chefs, bartenders, hotels, real estate, and lifestyle clients. She worked diligently at agencies including Edelman, FleishmanHillard, The Reynolds Group, and Green Olive Media to secure stories for her clients in publications like Food & Wine, The New York Times, The Robb Report, Bloomberg Business, The Wall Street Journal, Nation’s Restaurant News, and Travel + Leisure.
In 2016, Priya founded ShahSquared Consulting. Her dream was to provide small businesses and start-ups with corporate agency strategies without the exorbitant fees. She believes all companies deserve to have the best approaches and strategies regardless of their budget. Priya is not only a representative for her clients, she’s a proud advocate for their businesses.
Outside of the office, Priya can be found traveling to new countries to expand her palate, testing her culinary skills on friends and family, and spending time with ShahSquared’s Chief Moral Pawficer, a spoiled Schnoxie (Schnauzer/Dachshund) named Sir Basile.
