RJ Owen calls himself a UX Designer these days but started his career as a developer before moving into UX as a UX Researcher while at Effective Inc. in Denver. He brings a broad perspective as a person who has worked in agencies, startups, and enterprise organizations as a software developer, UX Researcher, Product manager, and UX Manager. Outside of his day job RJ is the host of Denver's chapter of the international lecture series and breakfast club CreativeMornings and the co-founder of Pitch Lab, an event series that helps professionals learn presentation skills through comedy.
